Amazon Second Chance Pass it on, trade it in, give it a second life. If you have read and love the blue blood series, then you need this book. It is just tantalizing enough to leave you wanting to read more and I cannot wait for the first book to come out.

It answers a few plot holes which is helpful but I feel was a away for the author to get away without answer all of the coven’s mysteries without writing them in her book.

I was pleasantly surprised that de la Cruz also included a few new mini stories that further explained a meeting, conversation, or a relationship that the reader was not previously privy to. Key short stories are cute and give a few more details bloodd Dylan, Bliss, Schuyler and Jack, and Mimi and Kingsley, but I’m not sure whether its worth reading through all the Repository’s records just for these stories.

Melissa de la Cruz www. Stand alone book it is not but excellent part of this series. When I first read about this book I wasn’t too excited since I’m not a big fan of companion books to series I enjoy.

So, to have a book give us even more of an in-sight to these characters lives is just fantastic. There’s not much to say about this book because it’s a companion book, and is therefore not plot based.


It is filled with “files” on each of the main characters giving more background of which angel they are, their conduits and kets observations.

I really enjoyed this book being different and a side book of the series. Not as entertaining as Bloody Valentine but useful to fans of this series.
